Cecilia Vidigal
Cecilia Vidigal has extensive experience in M&A, Infrastructure, Competition, Corporate Litigation and Antitrust, dealing with corporate matters such as exercise of voting rights in general shareholders’ meetings, rights of minority shareholders, politically sensitive issues in respect of disclosure regarding foreign officers, as well as law and regulation applicable to the electric sector, commercial contracts and corporate litigation and arbitration. Cecilia Vidigal has a bachelor’s degree, LLM in corporate law and doctorate degree from the University of São Paulo Law School (USP), and a specialization course in Private International Law at Law School of the University of Heidelberg, Germany. Cecilia Vidigal is author, among others, of the Brazil chapter of “The International Comparative Guide to Mergers & Acquisitions”, Global Legal Group, 2017, 2018 and 2019 editions. Cecilia Vidigal is a Council member of SEERIL – Section on Energy, Environment, Natural Resources, and Infrastructure Law of the IBA – International Bar Association, and member of the Brazilian Bar Association Energy Commission.
