Mária Pereira Martins de Carvalho is part of the tax team at PNST. Has worked for over 19 years in the tax consulting area, focusing on international taxation, tax and succession planning, tax reviews, structuring and M&A. Worked as a tax consulting at law offices, companies and audits in Brazil and Germany, serving national and international clients from various sectors. She graduated Law at Universidade Mackenzie and Accounting Sciences at Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado (FECAP). She has a LL.M. degree in tax and economic law (master of law) at Ruhr Universität Bochum, in Germany, is a doctoral student in comparative tax law at the same university and specialized in Tax Planning at Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos Tributários (IBET). She is a native in Portuguese speaker, fluent in German, English, Spanish and with some work knowledge of Italian.
